Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize 2019

 
 

Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize. Will be awarded to the artist who shows an exceptional understanding of their creative medium alongside an awareness of the art of the past. The winner must also demonstrate an awareness of the heritage of ceramic craft.

The Ceramics Prize is £1,000 with a Highly Commended Award of £500, both sponsored by Maylis and James Grand.

The judging panel comprises collector Preston Fitzgerald; ceramics patrons Maylis and James Grand; curator and art historian Stephen Feeke; the Crafts Council’s Daniella Wells and founder of Cultural Agenda, Davina Mallinckrodt.
